So I know this Black Friday will be a lot different due to our current pandemic. Of such most of our shopping if any will be online. This was the year that I said I would really go into the stores to get the true feeling but I guess that was not to be. Anyway, I will not be deterred. There tend to be some pretty good deals during this season. I have gone ahead and put together some basic pieces that are essential in your closet, well, most closets depending on your style. These are pieces that are timeless and functional and will overall just make a great addition.
I will start with Outerwear. I love a good duster that’s well made and I found this duster at Gap and they are currently offering 50% plus 10% more off your purchase. Express also has good deals going with this black duster currently at 50% off plus free shipping. This exact style is also available in white. I have no words to describe this blazer from Express. The perfect addition to any closet as it’s super versatile. And I had to end this segment with a moto jacket from Shein because if there’s one thing that they do right it’s their moto jackets.
Ahh! Your basic Tees and this part is pretty straight forward – we all need these. There’s just so much you can do with them. I found some pretty affordable tees from Nordstrom in colors that can be paired with almost anything. They are priced at 30% off.
Moving right along to Sweaters. I found these awesome ones from Mango in Khaki and Pastel grey. You can get them at 50% off. For good measure, Shein also has this beautiful color block sweater that is just too amazing to pass up.
We are getting to the fun stuff which is Bags. And I am sharing my most amazing ones with you. To be honest I haven’t seen any sales on this item just yet but it’s a steal so I had to share. It’s this Reversible Faux Leather Tote & Wristlet. You can switch to Cognac when you please or black when you so choose. Asos came through clutch with these Bottega Veneta dupes. The sale isn’t great only 20% off but I had to throw them in and you have a choice of either the black or brown or both. Last but not least for the bags I just had to put a crossbody bag and I love this one from Coach.
Jumpsuits, jumpsuits – they have got to be my favorite article of clothing well until it’s time to use the restroom but still. It’s like a one-stop-shop. The Blazer jumpsuits featured are from Express.
Forgive the lack of numbers as guidance, I legit could not make it work but I am going in a particular order lol. Up next we have dresses. I opted for a slip dress instead of an LBD. They really just give you a cute feminine look which can be dressed down to look casual at the same time. Also from Express. I found this cute floral dress from Target.
I have never been this excited about Bras in my entire life. I found these bras at Macy’s with prices as low as $12.50. Quick tip (well maybe not now) but get your bra fit done at a department store, try different styles, brands and make a record of it. Some stores will even give you a cute card to make notes. After that, you will never have to shop for bras full-priced. You’re welcome.
What’s a closet without Denim? I got so caught up with these finds that I had needed to include a tailored/structured pants from Express and it totally slipped me. But here ya go. Ok back to the denim. Dark wash skinny jeans from Zara. Old Navy currently has black skinny jeans and straight hem jeans at 50% off.
Shoes – the best for last right? And here are some good picks. Jessica Simpson Nude pumps 55% off at Nordstrom. Strappy heel sandals – Fashion Nova 80% off. Block heels – Aldo 25% off and Walmart has this Animal Print flats for $14.
And that’s it. Happy Thanksgiving y’all. What are some things that you are grateful for today? Please feel free to share. Mine is my family, friends, and our frontline workers.
Until next time my loves xoxo ~ Dee
